Speakers from the Sioux City Fire Department and Mid-American energy also come during the morning session.

The afternoon session is held at Home Depot. A home expert from Home Depot gives training on maintenance items such as:

  • Replacing a faucet
  • Replacing a door knob
  • Fixing a hole in dry wall
  • Insulation
  • Basic electrical issues
  • Basic plumbing issues
  • Weatherization item
  • Green items for the home
